I was hesitant to give it out before, just because I didn’t really want (literally) a thousand people getting into my personal life…but I’m finding that I have less to lose and also haven’t been updating FYDH as much as I’d like to because I do have so much going on in my personal life - So have at it, I suppose!

  demureintransigence-deactivated asked: I went to see the show on Friday and I loved it so much! I live in Puerto Rico and I skipped school and took two planes to get to New York and see Davey. I love GD too, but he was the only thing I really wanted to see. After gulping down two What's Her Names and an appletini I was so happy that if the ceiling of the theater had fallen down on me I wouldn't have noticed, besides, I got to be in the same space as one of my greatest loves so I didn't pay much attention to the choreography xD I had to leave right after the show but I really wanted his autograph, you are sooooo lucky! Did he look totally gorgeous up close? Also, did you see the cute bartenders? I think one of them looked a bit like Davey ^^

  Oh wow, that’s amazing! And I thought my seven hour bus ride there and back was rough! hahah Didn’t really see anybody in the building besides the play, my friend and I were actually running really late. We ended up running seven blocks to the theater and got there literally five minutes before the show started. To be honest with you, he looks exactly the same in person as he does in pictures. This was my second time “meeting” him (although I wouldn’t even call it that, it was a thirty second ordeal) and I think the only thing I could tell you is that he’s a real person. His head is not in the clouds (although it may have been the past few weeks, he was living out his childhood dream!) and he has mood swings just like everybody else. I mean, the first time I met him in October 09 he was sweeter than anything, but this past weekend he was a little more serious and…not aggressive, but definitely not being very personable, either. It was completely understandable though because people were literally throwing things at him, I think any person would have reacted the same way. He’s only human, I’m sure he has those days where he doesn’t look so awesome, I personally have not caught him on those days, though.

  murderousfiligree asked: i am so jealous you got to meet him. i tried to make my mom stay but it was late and she was a bitch. i am a huuuge green day fan, but yes the choreography was atrocious, especially the female dancers. i agree that in the first song he didn't sound too well, i feel like it may have been either a little too high or a little too fast for him, but i thought he was brilliant in "last night on earth." but in all in all, i lo0o0o0oved it.

  I really lucked out to be honest with you, there was so many people there and I more or less launched myself through the crowd to the front, but security made it…extremely clear that he was only going to be out for a very limited amount of time. I think if he could have stayed longer he would have, he seemed to be enjoying himself even though he was just frantically signing things that were being thrown at him…

  Okay so here’s the thing - I really am not a Green Day fan at all, and I have an enormous love for theater. Keeping that in mind, I thought the show could have been so much better. I have never seen choreography so bad in my life. Davey was the reason I went, and I’m probably biased, but I thought he did so, so well. It was worth the travels for me, I teared up a little when he first came on, not going to lie. I’m just really proud of him! He did sound a little rough on the first song, but I think he sounded awesome for the rest of the show. His role was really ironic, I did some research on his role before the show, so I wasn’t all that surprised, and I think he played it very, very well. I see him as that cynical sarcastic kind of person in real life, so I really think it was fitting for him, even though he was using it in the show in a way that he never would in real life. I would also just like to mention that it made my life how fucking sparkly he was. And how glitter SOMEHOW appeared every time he stepped on stage. So fucking funny. Also, the amount of bronzer he had on his face just made his head look really big because you could tell that the rest of his body is really pale. I sound like I had a shit time, but it was really so much fun. I did briefly meet him after the show, but the security guard pulled him away as he got to me, he signed my playbill quickly anyway. He had his sassy DU lace headband pulling his hair back like he used to do and ugh, I just died when he came out. He looked really good, I am just so happy for him I cannot even explain it.

  ahha, thanks! I’ve actually never even seen that picture before, so that wasn’t the one I was thinking of! I did just reblog it, though!

  As for submitting things…I really don’t even know what to tell you guys anymore because that submission box is so damn stupid. I don’t understand why it can’t be like the links on the dashboard where you have the option to UPLOAD things. So I apologize for that!
